The fascinated valley
Daily excursion dedicated to the natural and archeological beauties of
the best Barbagia's valley: Aratu valley. Already in ancient eras (neolithic)
the man understood that tha valley was in an excellent position, for climatic
and strategic motivations, infact it's the only connection point between
Barbagia of Ollolai and of Belvì. The valley, through a 18 Km serried
route, going across walking, by jeep and by mountain-bike, will give us
unforgettable moments, absorbed in the pristine nature, rich of archeological
settlement, fauna, shrubby and arboreal species.

The wild blue
A trek along the enchanting eastern coast, where in one week we will go
through around 50 km of coast. Sheerly rocks on the blue sea alternate
with wild places, little fiords like Portu Cuau (in sardinian language
it means hidden port) and fantastic coves like Goloritzè cove (Cala
Goloritzè), Mariolu cove (Cala Mariolu) and Luna cove (Cala Luna).
We will sleep in old folds or under the stars, drink the cave's water
and eat with the local shepherds, experts of the area and jelous guardians
of a rough territory, hard and mysterious. The paths we will go through
had been marked out, in some points, by the cruel coal miners' work in
the end of 1800, in others points by the shepherds' clever labor and in
others by the wild animals' and goats' transit …
The wild blue is considered the hardest and most
fascinating trek in Italy.
Wild sea&mountain
It's a 4 or 6 days trek, which leave from Gusana lake, in the Ollolai
Barbagia's heart, crosses the Gennargentu massif, fascinating Supramontes
of Orgosolo, of Urzulei and at last of Baunei one, for arriving to the
marvellous Luna cove. The entire route is without signals and every day,
all together, we will decide our destinations and the difficulties to
get through.
A real "working team".
Punta la Marmora - Island top 1834 mt. s.l.m.
An around 5 hours trekking, along the highest Sardinia's crests, where
it will be possible to visit the La Marmora refuge's ruins and the manifolds
varieties of botanic endemism of Gennargentu's gariga (specific Sardinia's
kind of vegetation).

Panoramic trek around Gusana lake
The route starts from Gavoi town's suburbs. After a slope of 300 m difference
in level it gets to the mountain Loilo's top where we will can enjoy a
wonderful view on the north side's most part of Gennargentu massif, Supramonte
of Orgosolo, Gonare mountain and Gusana lake. The trek continues along
the mountain's crests till to the marvellous Aratu valley, natural limit
between Fonni and Ovodda.
It goes up again along a path utilized by the coal miners in the past
century's beginning, till the S'Astore mountain where the view will leave
us without world!
From here the path isn't marked out and we will utilize the narrow tracks
opened by the animals's transit. The route ends near the S.Pietro's "casa
cantoniera" (old house for workmen of the road), where the jeep will
wait for us.

Tiscali
Transfer to Lanaittu by jeep, visit to the Su Cologone karstic springs,
one hour walk till Tiscali mountain's dolina and visit to the homonymic
nuragic village, dinner, visit to the Sa Oche cave and to the nuragic
temple of Sos Carros water's worship.
Easy excursion.
Interest: naturalistic, historic, cultural.

Gorroppu canyon
Transfer to Gorroppu canyon, the 2nd longest canyon (5 Km) and highest
(494 mt.) in Europe. Visit inside, where we will can admire the very high
vertical walls and observe the varieties of botanic endemism which inside
found the ideal place to vegetate.

Perda Liana
Transfer by jeep to "sa Perda Liana" slope, short 40 minutes
walk to get to the amazing calcareous heel, turned the up Ogliastra's
symbol.

Cala Luna
Transfer by jeep to Bucchi Arta's fold, around 2 hours trek along a path
utilized by the local shepherds for getting to the enchanting "Codula
di luna" (moon little tail), visit inside the Codula and short walk
to the sea.

Cala Goloritze
Transfer by jeep to Golgo table-land and around 1,30 hour trek through
secular holms oak woods. After going through a spectacular calcareous
arch, it's possible to foresee the majestic spire, aspired aim by all
european climbers. We will arrive to the wonderful and unic Cala Goloritzè.
The intense turquoise sea's color joint to the beach cobbles's white will
give you an indelible memory of this enchanting place.

Pischina Urtaddala (Urzulei)
Transfer by jeep to Campos Bargios in Urzulei, after around 10 km out
of the road, we arrive in Sedda ar Baccas locality, going on by walk till
Pischina, a gigantic karstic pot made by the waters' rage, we continue
sloping down till the first Gorroppu's lake where we will admire a paradise.

Transfer to Barbagia inland where we will
can live for one day the ancient mountain towns' traditions.
Museums, churches, rustic sanctuaries, shops and artisan laboratories
of cutlers, woodworkers, metal workers, confectioners, goldsmiths and
more traditions, pagan and religious rites, millenniums of history preserved
with jealousy and passed on by our grandfathers with everyday usances
and costumes. A journey through the Barbagia symbol-towns.
